Today, we will be looking at curse words. What are these curse words you may ask. They are profane or bad words that should not be found in our speech. You can also call them dirty words meant for only dirty people. Are you a dirty child? Do you use such dirty words? If yes, then you should stop using them. Why? You may want to know. Curse words shows that you are not a responsible child. It doesn’t speak well of you. Children who have been trained well by their parents are not supposed to use such words.
These curse words are more often than not learnt from our peers in school, at home, in places of worship and sometimes from the television.
You can’t learn these dirty words from your text books. If you say you are a child of God, you need to avoid these words. Only ill-mannered children use curse words. It does not matter if you have been provoked to annoyance by anyone. You should learn self control and restrict yourself from cursing out. Anger is not a reason either to curse people.
If you use curse words, your parents will not be proud of you and other parents will not like you to associate with their children then gradually, you will be left without friends. Is that what you want? Even people will begin to avoid you because you are a bad child. Yes. People who curse are bad children.
So if you want to be a good child, from today, make a decision to stop using curse words. Even if someone says it to you, don’t reply. Gradually, you will learn to stop using such bad and unhealthy words. Remember to also stay far from people who use such words so that you will not be influenced. I hope you choose to be a good child today. Don’t use curse words so that everyone can be proud of you.
