Schools have been on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic hit Nigeria March this year. Following this, the Federal government of Nigeria has disclosed that it would soon roll out the course of action for the reopening of schools
This was disclosed by Boss Mustapha, Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 at a press briefing on Wednesday, May 28. He urged local governments, proprietors and all other stakeholders in the education to start taking steps that will help in reopening schools.
Mustapha said, “I wish to inform Nigerians that the Federal Ministry of Education will roll out measures for the self-reopening of schools.”
In his words, “We, therefore, use this medium to urge states, local governments, proprietors and all other stakeholders to begin to take steps that will facilitate an early and safe reopening of schools.
