The management of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) to stem the tide of the raging Covid-19 has swiftly responded by decontaminating and disinfecting the GAFAB and Ire-Akari communities in the council area.
The fumigation exercise was carried out immediately after the evacuation of a suspected COVID-19 patient from the GAFAB community on Thursday 29th April 2020.
GAFAB community comprises of the following streets: Godwin Way, Adagunodo, Farouk Abdulazeez, Akinwonmi, Ayinde Giwa, Daddy Adediran and Bayo Olumide.
The preventive exercise was also extended to other streets within the Ire-Akari Estate area. They include houses, churches, schools, hotels, supermarkets and companies such as Lukol Automobile Limited, Citadel of Peace and Faith, Jesus the Joy of Life Mission INC and Futurewealth Creche & Schools.
Others are Power Pentecostal Assembly Fellowship, Hero’s Culture School, Yorks Hotel Ltd, Tender Divine Seeds, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Learning Path School, Baboo Aateryed Factory, The Light of Christ Bible Church, Goodnews Miracle Asssembly Int’l Inc., God’s Pillar Int’l School, Celestial Church of Christ (Treasure of God Parish), Victors Chapel (Christ Victory Covenant Ministry), Believers Assembly and Tara Hotel Ltd.
