Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model School unveils new School Building in Isolo, Lagos

All roads led to Akimorin Street Isolo Monday, September 21, 2020, as The Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Sisters officially unveiled the new Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model School Building within the Isolo community.

The school, which was previously located at Okeho Street, Ire-Akari Estate, Isolo in a rented building took a bold step to own a permanent space still in Isolo as the population of pupils continued to grow since the school opened in 2012.

The School’s Administrator, Rev. Sis. Agnes Ajayi, EHJ speaking to Community bell Newspaper explained that the growing population of the pupils necessitated movement to a bigger space adding that the school has a track record of excellence and discipline. “Our school is the best in Ire-Akari.

“I can remember a time we went for a school’s competition; and our pupils came top three in the contest.  The school was established to promote high moral standards and discipline. We want our children to be like Jesus, change Nigeria, and the world as a whole. We want our children to be great ambassadors of the school and of their parents. We also aim to build a culture of love, courtesy, and hard work. We also try to promote the spirit of self-reliance in our children. Even for their homework, we encourage them to solve difficult tasks by themselves”.

The Superior General of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus sisters, Sr. Agatha Osarenkhoe, EHJ speaking with excitement about the just concluded project added that “with the new development, we will be able to achieve our objective of giving quality education to the children.”
