Delicious Treat hosts customers with cultural troupe

Residents of Isolo and its environs were thrilled as fast growing fast food retail outlet, Delicious Treat hosted a two- day entertainment show to give its customers a memorable experience.
According to the Assistant Director of Delicious Treat, Mrs. Carol Okwara ,the event was an avenue to give back to the brand’s loyalists. “Sometimes we want to give our customers a treat, we want them to come and have a feel of something that is great.
We don’t just collect from our customers, we give back to them because we want them to have us in mind so once in a while, we give them a treat so that they can enjoy their stay here. We want them to relax, have fun and memorable experiences. We made it a two- day event because some people might not be able to make it for one day but be able to make it for another.”
The central theme of the event was the celebration of the Igbo culture and the African tradition. In attendance to amaze the audience was eccentric performer and musician, Queen Theresa Onuorah and her Egedege troop. The event which lasted for two days witnessed a massive turn-out as people gathered to enjoy music, dance, drinks and food.
Mrs. Okwara gave reasons for hosting the performer. “We want the young ones to identify with the African culture and tradition. They will see and know what the Igbo culture is all about. It cost us much to bring Queen Theresa and her troop here but we had to make the sacrifice because we want people to do things that will project our culture like this and that is why we made it open and free for everyone.”
