An-all female group in Lagos on Sunday has joined other faith-based groups to give succour to people as they gave out hygiene packs to families.

Dr Joy Ichue
President, Covenant Women Fellowship of Covenant Life Christian Church (CLCC).

The hygiene pack which contains hand sanitizer and liquid multipurpose soap is a gesture of Covenant Women Fellowship of Covenant Life Christian Church (CLCC).

According to the President of the Fellowship, Dr. Joy Ichue, the hygiene pack is one of the ways the group assists its members and non-members and to impress on them the importance of good hygiene as the Covid-19 pandemic rages.

“We all know the importance of good hygiene at a time like this, it is not enough for us to preach good hygiene through regular washing of hands and surfaces, we have taken a step further by providing bottles of hand sanitizer and multipurpose liquid soap to all families in the congregation and we may extend it to people around us. We earnestly pray that God in His mercy will heal the world of this pandemic” Ichue told our correspondent while urging all to obey all safety rules and pray more.

Senior Pastor of CLCC, Pastor Dare Omole during a live streaming of the Church’s service on Sunday also urged Christians at this critical time not to relent in seeking God’s face to bring an end to the pandemic. Omole also charged all to abide by safety rules advised by public health experts.
