Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command has arrested popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele Bello for violating restriction orders in Lagos.
Funke Akindele Bello was arrested on Sunday March 5th, 2020 after the video of the birthday party organised by Funke Akindele Bello for her husband went viral.
It was gathered that the birthday party was held on Saturday at Amen Estate located along Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos had a large number of persons mainly in the entertainment industry.
Sequel to the viral video detectives from the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department SCIID, Yaba were promptly drafted to the location where Funke Akindele was arrested
Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson Lagos State Police Command, DSP Bala Elkana said that the couple were arrested after the attention of Lagos State Police Command was drawn to a viral video showing a large number of persons mainly in the entertainment industry in an Estate, along Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki axis, Lagos celebrating a birthday party organised by Funke Akindele Bello and her husband.
Investigation is ongoing, efforts are intensified to arrest the remaining persons in the video, among whom are Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley and Abdul Rasheed Bello a.k.a. JJC Skillz. They are in their best interests urged to report at the State CID Yaba on Monday 6th April, 2020 or risk being declared wanted”.
