Why I got married in my 50s – Actress, Ronnie Dikko reveals

Talented Nollywood actress, Ronnie Dikko has shared the story about her marriage life to encourage single women waiting on God for a spouse. The actress told single women that it is good to wait for God’s time. In her chat with Sun News, Ronnie said that God blessed her with an ideal man from Ekiti State in her 50s and she has no regrets for the long wait.

The actress explained that she got married last year to her husband whom she described as her friend. The film star explained that she is happy to find someone to spend her old age with after waiting for so many years.
Looking back at her past, the veteran said that when she was waiting, she stopped blaming people asking her questions on why she was yet to be married. She stated that delay is not denial if a person knows the God that they serve.

The actress said that she believes there is somebody for every single person somewhere. “It takes the grace of God to find your life partner, so you have to pray and wait for God to connect you spiritually and physically. Honestly, the pressure can be overwhelming, especially when your biological clock is ticking away, it takes great faith to wait and pray.” She advised single women never to doubt God or the efficacy of prayers. “If God can give me a husband, they should be hopeful. There are classes of men, so it’s important to look before you leap.”

Veteran actress, Ronnie Dikko is a household name in the creative industry. Her first movie role was in the movie, ‘When the Sun Sets’ which starred Kate Henshaw and Bob-Manuel Udokwu, while her first role on television was in the series, ‘Fortunes’.
