Ex-Lagos Gubernatorial Aspirant, Babatunde Gbadamosi arrested for attending Funke Akindele’s house party

Former gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, Babatunde Gbadamosi, has been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly contravening lockdown order declared by the State Government to curtail coronavirus spread.

Gbadamosi, who is being detained with his wife at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), was among guests who attended the 43rd birthday party of Abdul-Rasheed Bello alias JJ Skills organised over the weekend by his wife Funke Akindele-Bello.

Gbadamosi was detained after being spotted in a viral video at the birthday party organized by the Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello for her husband, Abdul-Rasheed Bello, which held at the home of the couple inside Amen Estate, Ibeju-Lekki.

A police source at the Command Headquarters revealed that Gbadamosi has been detained and may not be released by the law enforcement agency for engaging in an act that was at variance with the law.

Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi is a Nigerian businessman and politician. He was the Action Democratic Party Governorship candidate in the 2019 Lagos State Gubernatorial Election.
He lost to Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

On 22 February 2020, He moved from the Action Democratic Party back to the Peoples Democratic Party.
