Emergency Food Response: Isolo Beneficiaries Eulogise Lagos State Government

Beneficiaries of the Emergency Food Response have continued to praise the Lagos State Government (LASG) under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his act of humanity particularly at this trying times.

The Emergency Food Response packages arrived Kushoru Primary School, Isolo on Saturday 28th of March 2020 to wild jubilation of residents and stakeholders.

In compliance with the directive of the Lagos State Ministry of Health in respect to social distancing, the 700 food packs comprising rice, garri, beans and bread were distributed through the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), League of Imams, Community Development Associations (CDC/CDAs) and ward councillors of the council area.

The items were distributed 100 each across the seven wards. Beneficiaries were full of praises for the governor for reaching out to them during the sit-at-home period.

“It is not easy to stay at home on empty stomach. But we are extremely grateful to the governor for reaching out to us. May God remembers him during his own time of need,” says Isiaka Ajanaku, a Mechanic at the popular Mechanic Village.

Similarly, a business woman, Alhaja Ayinla showered encomiums on the Governor for his humane act. “Sanwo-Olu is God-sent. We are yet to see another governor who has the well-being of Lagosians at heart more than Sanwo-Olu. May God be kind to him in all his endeavours.” She prayed.
